wow, it's so rare that I cathc someone like you when they just posted... Since there aren't oodles of comments here, I guess I'll give you some of my thougths on it...

First off, I like it. I like all your stuff--you have a great style. the colors are great, and the shapes are real without being realistic; they have just the right touch of abstractness to them.

I dont like this one as much as some of your others though. I dont find myself connecting with the subject at all. I just see a woman hlding her baby, and that means ntohing to me.

Overall, I like it. It's very nice. Keep up the work.

Wow, I caught a `jasinski with only one view--that rare. I guess I'll take this chance and give you my thoughts before the comments come rushing in...

I like it, the colors and the slight unreality to it make this, and all your other work, great. But, I dont like this as much as your others. I dont find myself making any connection to it; it's just some woman and a baby--wow. Also, I find the halo's to be superfluous, the painting would be jsut as good without them. Perhaps I am failing to catch the religious theme, but I dont get it.

the symbolism here is great... a modern mary so to speak... great detail and colors... my favorite part for some reason is the purse...

nice crackly type paint...the overall feeling is sad and smoggy...love it

oh my... i adore this. mary as a modern urban teenage mother...
i myself have always been drawn to the image of mary, even though i'm not religious...
wonderful. as always, i completely love the brushwork and colors... the colors really make an atmosphere here. :) (Smile) you're my hero.
