I've been sitting on this one for over a year and a half!!! Finally got permission to post it.

The book: Star Wars Art: Visions
I am UBER-honored and frankly kind of in SHOCK to be included in this book, even if it's just the limited edition version. (the normal version doesn't have my piece in it)

This thing is HUGE. I'm in a book with freakin' H. R. Giger and Sid Mead for cryin' out loud!

along with other art gods like Amano, Allan R. The book is out November 2010.

You shouldn't be so shocked. I've been watching you for as long as I've been on DA and you are consistently one of the best, most creative artists I've ever seen. My framed print of "we played our souls" is still one of my favorite pieces on my walls, and my friend's framed print of "my fabulous MicroMoog" - same thing. Well deserved, nice to see you breaking out!

Anyway, I absolutely love the brushwork here. I also really like that background work, with all those odd squares of differing lighter/darker shades- how did you do that?
