Heaven's Fury: Lauren Bacall by jasinski Heaven's Fury: Lauren Bacall by jasinski
Another painting from my Seven Days of the Week series. This is Lauren Bacall as Thor the thunder god of Thursday. And nothing brings the thunder like some old Soviet ICBMs.

Amazing piece, wonderfully surreal, and you've still managed to capture her incredible sex appeal.

I love Lauren Bacall, this is such a great capturing of her! As always, very amazing. Your symbolism gets broader and broader with every painting, it seems... the tremendous skyline is interesting. Heaven? A scape for "thunder" to be conducted across? I really like the touches of yellow scattered throughout.

I can't figure out the letters at the top (and I love anagrams, so this is getting to me, ha ha)... immediately I thought "be pretty", but I realized what I thought was a "y" is an "h", so... The bepr?

How's the DaMP coming? :-)

Very nice! Like your robots as always! :)

a little inaccuracy is 'r' letter which is never represented in Cyrillic fonts in such way, it may only have straight cap (see [link])...
...but that doesn't derogate this piece of art in any way! Like it indeed!

Seems like the roboto wants her to use the hammer instead and the boy doesn't want her to blow up anything either. Lauren Bacall was a Jew as well...

I really like this, especially the hammer robot but mainly Lauren expression one half of her face is almost like a mix of expressions moods blase meets a dull emptiness a lack of emotion with the other half analyzing her thoughts as if she is starting to question her actions... an idea which will inevitably lead to thunder in her own conciousness... il stop there i could keep going

sorry I probably completely missed the point. so...yeah i like it :)
