I love the piano and I love the idea of chillin' out at a venue in the early hours of the morning after the show is over.

I love the mood of this piece...the relaxed atmosphere of the piano bar at 4 in the morning, as the pianist plays a gentle tune and the chateuse laying across the piano, enjoying the quiet time and perhaps quietly singing along. I like your placement of contrasting blues and reds, and the wide, narrow canvas you have used. I could imagine this on my wall, and it's a pity that I can't afford it.

Ah, piano, my favourite subject of all time.

The tight composition, the minimal usage of color and texture create just the right atmosphere - the image splits in two, the pianist is in his own bubble that no one can burst, and the other can only reach towards the bubble; to wait and listen. Simple and attractive.
