As always, your perspective is unique! What I love is the composition of the piece, how you carry the viewer's eye throughout the entire painting. All of the horizontal lines could make this very static/calm/peaceful, yet the dramatic colors and light/dark patterns make this a very dynamic and exciting painting. It's wonderful!

this picture makes me think of my old boyfriend. he was truly a piano genius. he can play some pretty difficult stuff very accurately just on the first read. he wrote a song for me once. i remember sitting opposite him, with my eyes closed, listening to him spill out his soul on the keys. it was beautiful. he had a great voice. looking at this brings me back to sitting next to him, dwarfed my his tall stature and huge hands (in comparison to me) while he went at his piano, staring off like he was in another world. he left me, but i still like to think sometimes about how wonderful he was. thanks for the picture, this is absolutely stunning.
